This policy explains, in plain language, what personal data Petelgo LTD (“Petelgo”, “we”, “us”) collects through petelgo.com and while providing our personal branding and social media marketing services, why we use it, and what rights you have.

When you contact us or book a call – your name, email address, and anything you choose to tell us. Meetings are booked through Calendly, which collects the details you enter in its booking form.
When you fill in the Personal Brand Brief – your name and email address, plus the answers you give about your professional background, career, topics, values, communication style, target audience, and any links you share (for example to photos).
When you use the Audience Builder (LinkedIn or Instagram) – your name, email address, and the targeting criteria you select, such as job titles, industries, locations, company sizes, and notes.
When you submit any form – we also record your IP address alongside the submission to prevent spam and abuse.
When you are our client – the data needed to run your account and campaigns, such as access to or content from your LinkedIn or Instagram profiles, campaign results, lead data from LinkedIn Lead Gen Forms, and invoicing details.
We use your data to reply to your inquiry and prepare an offer (steps before a contract), to deliver our services, including content creation, profile management, and ad campaigns (performance of a contract), to keep our website secure and free of spam (legitimate interest), and to meet accounting and tax obligations (legal obligation). We do not use your data for automated decision-making and we do not sell it.
We only share data with providers that help us run the website and our services:
• our web hosting provider, and email providers (including Google) that deliver form submissions to our team mailbox;
• Calendly, for booking meetings;
• LinkedIn and Meta (Instagram), when we run campaigns or manage profiles on your behalf;
• Google Fonts, which loads the fonts on our site and receives your IP address when you visit;
• GeoJS (geojs.io), which receives your IP address to tell us which country you are visiting from, so we can show the right language version.
Some of these providers are based outside the UK and the European Economic Area (mainly in the United States). Where that is the case, the transfer is protected by appropriate safeguards, such as standard contractual clauses or adequacy decisions.
Our website does not use advertising or analytics cookies. The only thing we store in your browser is your detected country (in local storage, for 7 days) so we don’t need to look it up again on every visit. You can clear it at any time in your browser settings. Third-party sites we link to, such as Calendly or LinkedIn, have their own cookie policies.
Inquiries, briefs, and Audience Builder submissions that do not lead to cooperation are kept for up to 12 months. Client data is kept for the duration of our cooperation and then for as long as the law requires us to keep accounting records (usually 6 years). Country data in your browser expires after 7 days.
You have the right to access your data, correct it, have it deleted, restrict or object to its processing, and receive a copy of it in a portable format. Where we rely on your consent, you can withdraw it at any time. To use any of these rights, email office@petelgo.com. We will reply within one month.
You can also lodge a complaint with a data protection authority: the Information Commissioner’s Office (ico.org.uk) in the UK, or the supervisory authority in your EU country, such as the President of the Personal Data Protection Office (UODO) in Poland.
If we change how we handle personal data, we will update this page and the date at the top.
